Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Perfect Loglines (the "Service"), operated by Attention Grabbing LLC, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Illinois, United States ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

The Service is provided by Attention Grabbing LLC. You are contracting with Attention Grabbing LLC. You can contact us at legal@perfectloglines.com or +1 (000) 000-0000. (These contact details are being finalized and will be updated.)

2. Eligibility

You must meet the minimum digital-consent age for your country to create an account (13 in most countries, 14 in China and South Korea, 15 in France and Czechia, 16 across most of the EU). If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind it.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. The Service

The Service uses AI to generate short "loglines" from story ideas you submit. Output is produced on demand and may be inaccurate, generic, similar to output given to other users, or unsuitable for your purpose. See our About our AI page for details.

5. Your content and rights

You retain all rights you have in the story ideas you submit and in the loglines generated for you. We do not claim ownership of your inputs or outputs. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host and process your inputs and outputs solely to operate the Service (for example, to run the generation, save your history, and display it back to you). We do not use your content to train AI models.

Please note: short phrases such as loglines are generally not eligible for copyright protection in the United States (37 CFR § 202.1(a)), the United Kingdom, the European Union, Canada, or Australia. AI-generated output may also not qualify for copyright protection in some jurisdictions (for example, the United States under Thaler v. Perlmutter). "You retain all rights" means we do not take rights from you — it does not grant you rights that the law does not provide. Loglines you generate here may be similar to loglines others receive, and third parties may independently produce similar loglines. Use loglines at your discretion; you cannot claim exclusive rights to them.

6. Acceptable use

You will not use the Service to:

  • break the law, infringe intellectual property, or violate anyone's rights;
  • generate or attempt to generate child sexual abuse material (CSAM);
  • harass, threaten, defame, or promote violence against any person or group;
  • generate hate speech, sexual content involving real identifiable people without consent, or content designed to deceive or defraud;
  • attempt to jailbreak, bypass, or manipulate safety filters or system prompts;
  • resell, redistribute, or offer the Service (or its output as a service) to third parties;
  • use the Service to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any AI model that competes with the Service;
  • access the Service by automated means, scripts, scraping, or bulk-generate loglines outside the normal UI;
  • interfere with security, probe for vulnerabilities, or introduce malware;
  • upload personal data of others without a lawful basis to do so.

7. Payments and credits

Loglines cost credits. Credits are sold as one-time packs, do not expire, and are non-transferable. Our reseller Paddle processes payments (see Section 12). Payment, billing, tax, and currency mechanics are handled by Paddle under their Buyer Terms. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Attention Grabbing LLC and its licensors. Nothing in these Terms transfers our intellectual property to you. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

9. DMCA / copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property rights and comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512). To report material you believe infringes your copyright, send a notice to our designated Copyright Agent:

Notices must include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3). We may terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, pose a security or fraud risk, or violate the acceptable-use rules above. Violations of Section 6 may result in immediate termination. On termination, your story ideas and loglines will be deleted immediately; billing records are retained for seven (7) years to comply with IRS requirements.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any logline will be accurate, original, commercially valuable, protectable, or result in your work being read, selected, optioned, or produced.

12. Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) US $50. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless Attention Grabbing LLC and its owners, officers, and employees from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or the law.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to their personal jurisdiction. Where applicable local consumer law grants you mandatory rights, those rights are not affected.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
