About our AI

Perfect Loglines is an AI-powered service. This page explains how the AI works, what it can and cannot do, and what that means for you. Nothing on this page changes our Terms or Privacy Notice.

How it works

When you submit a story idea, we send your prompt to a third-party large language model (currently Google's Gemini family via the Lovable AI Gateway). The model returns a short logline, which we display to you and save to your history.

What the AI is not

• Not a human. It cannot judge a script, guarantee originality, or promise a sale.
• Not a research tool. It can generate confident-sounding text that is inaccurate.
• Not a legal, financial, or medical adviser.

Accuracy and originality

AI output can be wrong, generic, or coincidentally similar to existing works or to output given to other users. You are responsible for reviewing every logline before using it publicly. Do not rely on the output as fact, and do not assume it is unique to you.

Your inputs and outputs

You retain all rights you have in your story ideas and in the loglines generated for you. We do not use your content to train AI models. See our Terms for details, and note that short phrases such as loglines, and AI output generally, may not qualify for copyright protection in many jurisdictions.

What you may not do

See Terms § 6 for the full list. In short: no illegal content, no CSAM, no harassment, no impersonating real people, no jailbreak attempts, no bulk/automated generation, and no using the output to train a competing AI model.

EU AI Act transparency

Under Article 50 of the EU AI Act, we disclose that content produced by this service is AI-generated. If you publish loglines you obtained here, please label them as AI-assisted where relevant.
