Why we ask for your date of birth
We use it only to check that you meet the minimum age for your country. This keeps the service compliant with child-protection laws such as COPPA in the US and GDPR rules for minors in the EU/UK.
Minimum age varies by country (13+ in most, 14+ in China and South Korea, 16+ across much of the EU). We store your date of birth securely and do not use it for marketing or profiling.
